Towering cranes at Lower Essex Street

Excellent progress at Lower Essex Street in Birmingham where we are appointed as Structural and Civil Engineers. This is a mixed use scheme for Galliard comprising 627 apartments and 20,000sq ft of commercial space within 3 tower blocks from 8 to 27 storeys.

The immense cranes are standing on crane bases we have designed, the largest crane is over 100m and is the tallest free-standing crane in the UK at the moment. The 28 storey slipform core is growing at an impressive 3m per day.
