Senior Partner who has spent over 35 years in the construction industry.
He has experience in a wide range of sectors and particular expertise in the development of difficult sites including listed buildings. He has chartered status and is a registered Principal with ACE.
Ian Rollinson
Partner
Ian is a Partner and Chartered Structural Engineer, who heads up the Gloucester office. His experience extends across a variety of sectors including leisure, retail, residential and commercial for regional and national clients. Ian has particular expertise in achieving innovative solutions to release problem sites for commercial use.
Gareth Crowther
Partner
Gareth has over 20 years’ consultancy experience in the civil engineering sector, is Chartered and has wide ranging design expertise covering highways, drainage, service infrastructure, flood risk, SuDS and earthworks. He oversees the civil engineering teams who provide comprehensive design service on a wide variety of projects from initial appraisal stages up to and including construction and delivery stages.
Richard Laughton
Partner
A Partner with more than 40 years in structural engineering. Richard has responsibility for technical co-ordination of major structural and civil projects for clients such as Merlin Entertainments, Bourne Leisure and several major hotel groups.
Richard is the Practice’s Quality Manager having achieved ISO:9001 accreditation for the business. He is responsible for managing the IT systems, keeping engineering staff at the forefront of technology.
Andrew De Croos
Partner
Andrew is a Partner and head of the civil engineering team in Gloucester. His team provides a comprehensive design service for highways, drainage and service infrastructure. Andrew has over 15 years’ experience in the construction industry and a particular expertise in the field of flood risk and Sustainable Drainage Systems.
Mike Beckly
Partner
Mike is a Chartered Structural Engineer and is responsible for the structural design team in the Henley office. He joined the practice in 2014 as a structural engineer and became a Partner in December 2020. He has extensive expertise in domestic, commercial and leisure industries, particularly in refurbishment and reuse of structures. He is also experienced in working with Listed Buildings, constrained sites and temporary works design.
Simon Lane
Consultant
Fellow of the Institution of Civil and Structural Engineers, Simon continues to act as a consultant following the merger of the two practices. Director of TWS for over 25 years, he brings a wealth of experience and maintains a hands-on presence ensuring continuity of technical approach and client liaison.
Matthew Harber
Partner
Matthew is a Partner and leads the Gloucester office in conjunction with Ian Rollinson and Andrew De Croos. He has broad experience, gained from over 25 years in the industry. Matthew currently specialises in the housing sector with extensive experience working with long standing clients including Redrow, Countryside and Taylor Wimpey.
