A scheme of Cotswold style 2 and 3 storey residential buildings on a brown-field site close to the town centre of Witney. The site was previously occupied by a large manufacturing plant, making various precast concrete components for the construction industry. As a consequence, there were many challenges below ground, including the full decontamination of the site and investigation to discover buried pits and chambers, associated with the previous operation; the latter being a requirement to assist selection of the correct foundation design solutions.
