Sharing Passivhaus Design Insights with Southend-on-Sea City Council

Federica Largaiolli and Mark Mawby presented to Southend-on-Sea City Council on the principles and benefits of Passivhaus design.

They were joined by Evette Prout of Kind & Co, who shared valuable insights from recent Passivhaus construction projects. The session explored key design lessons learned and highlighted the benefits of involving structural engineers at an early stage to help achieve Passivhaus standards efficiently and cost-effectively.

The presentation provided an excellent opportunity to share knowledge, discuss best practice, and support the continued delivery of low-energy, sustainable buildings.
