Andrew De Croos and Matthew Harber joined Constructing Excellence Gloucestershire for a site visit to the A417 Missing Link project—returning a year after their last visit to see the significant progress made on site.
The £460m National Highways scheme is a major infrastructure project designed to improve safety, reduce congestion, and better connect communities along the A417 between Brockworth and Cowley. It’s also notable for its commitment to working with the landscape and minimising visual impact across the Cotswolds.
The visit provided a great opportunity to see complex engineering solutions in action and hear from the project team about delivery challenges and successes to date.
Thanks to Constructing Excellence Gloucestershire for organising an insightful event.
