We provided structural engineering services to the refurbishment of this historic Grade II listed hotel on the riverfront in Henley on Thames, just down the road from our own office. The project included remodelling the front of house areas, creating vaulted ceilings and a bespoke support for a feature boat suspended in the restaurant, conversion of the loft space into additional bedrooms and development of outside space with a pergola and covered walkways. The hotel reopened in time for the Henley Royal Regatta, very timely as it sits opposite the race finish line. We are pleased to have been involved in bringing this important building in the town back to life. Great working with Grace Leo, Translation Architecture, Savile Brown, Pillar Consulting, PureFitout and Hoare Lea.
