Simpson Associates were the structural & civil engineers for the Hotel Du Vin, in Henley on Thames. The works involved conversion of the Henley Brewery site in the centre of town, famous for brewing Brakspear ales. Structural works aimed to incorporate as many original features as possible, to give the finished hotel a unique character. New floors were introduced in the main brewing hall to accommodate hotel bedrooms. In addition, the warehousing area, to the rear of the site, was converted to new private residential accommodation.
