Hill Barn, Ipsden, Oxfordshire

This project is a new build, 450m² private dwelling constructed on the site of a previous house on a sloping site in the Chiltern Hills. The building consisted of retaining walls as the building was sunk into the hillside, and particular attention was required for design of terrace canopies, subjected to increased wind loads due to the exposed environment.
