We are seeking an Accounts and Project Assistant to join our friendly Finance team in our Henley on Thames office. This is a varied and interesting role and can be 24 – 28 hours pw with flexibility around start and finish times. It would suit someone with a key attention to detail and excellent communication.

- Sales invoicing experience, preferred.
- General finance administration experience
- Strong level of numeracy
- Excellent analytical skills
- Ability to build good relationships with colleagues
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and strong work ethic
- Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise accordingly
- Self starter with a ‘can do’ attitude
- Confident user of Microsoft Office particularly Excel and IT generally
Responsibilities
Sales Invoicing – a key role producing the invoices for our Henley office. These invoices can be complex in nature requiring good communication with our engineers.
– Raising invoices in a timely manner after receiving instruction using Coretime
– Updating Invoice List
– Accurately checking and filing fee proposals and agreement copies
– Keeping accurate drawdown records
– Requesting and chasing approvals from Project Managers
Project administration – assisting our Finance Consultant in the production of management reports, improving business processes and working with our engineers on the financial aspects of their projects.
– Producing project reports from Coretime (our time management system) and sending to Project Managers.
– Following up with Project Managers to prompt them to invoice.
– Checking timesheets on Coretime and sending to appropriate Line Manager.
Office Administration
– Assist support team with ad-hoc duties
– Assist with answering telephone calls
